RAW COOKIE DOUGH BALLS

There is some sort of crazy thing happening in the world right now where people are shunning processed, refined sugar filled snacks and moving towards home-made and whole food treats. And I'm not going to lie, I'm a huge fan.  

Not one of my clients tell me "I feel fine when I eat refined sugar, it actually makes me feel really good".  They all complain of the addiction, not being able to stop at just one, the bloating, headaches and my cellulite seems to be expanding day by day.  

 

I get it.  I was there.  I'm sure you already know the story by now.

 

But the cure isn't deprivation, it's substitution.  And because I like to keep things really simple and with minimal effort, I wanted to share with you my ridiculously easy Raw Cookie Dough Balls recipe.  

This is BY FAR the most popular, most regularly made recipe from my eBook Treat Your Tastebuds.

  • 1 cup organic gluten free oats
  • 1 cup raw cashews 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil 
  • 2 tablespoons rice malt syrup
  • 50g Loving Earth Creamy Coconut Mylk Chocolate (or your fave healthy raw chocolate bar) 

 

First, blend together the oats and cashews until they become like a our or ne meal.

Add the vanilla, coconut oil and rice malt and blend again until completely combined.

Chop the chocolate into small squares and stir through.
Roll tablespoon sized balls in your hands and let set in the fridge for an hour.

 

Voila!  That's it, I told you simple, didn't I?
